Msgr. McClancy High School
Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School is guided by the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart which provides a quality education for young people from diverse academic, social, cultural, economic and religious backgrounds, fully interweaving gospel values and Catholic teachings with the core curriculum. Our school offers students a disciplined and nurturing environment for their personal and professional development by promoting responsibility, respecting individual potential and encouraging their growth in scholarship, leadership and outreach. It is a school community in which each student is known, valued, treasured and taught by the faculty in partnership with the family to meet the challenges of life in our rapidly changing world.
Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School is a college preparatory school, providing a solid liberal arts education to the diverse community of young people. In a secure, structured environment we offer a flexible curriculum to nurture the intellectual, spiritual, social and physical dimensions of the individual.
We strive to provide a setting permeated with Christian values. Believing that we are what we teach, we provide an education coupled with liturgical and service opportunities. Valuing every member of the school community, we welcome students from other religious traditions.
Motivated by the educational charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, we foster an attitude of caring that extends from our immediate relationships to the global community. McClancy strives to embody the Brothers’ invitation to foster among the young, a spirit of acceptance that leads them to love all people regardless of their race, nationality or creed and to sensitize the school community to the needs of the less fortunate. Ultimately, the school community is challenged to develop and grow in the Brothers’ spirituality of compassion: to believe in God’s love, to live that love and to spread that love. With this in mind, McClancy is dedicated to the fullest development of each and every student.
